Ben LeVan, PhD

Dr. Ben LeVan is an accomplished executive with over twenty years of leadership development and Human Resource experience servicing Fortune 500 companies, mid-sized organizations and non-profits. He has directed HR functions for over eight thousand employees generating revenues in excess of two billion dollars. Ben has spoken to a broad range of U.S. and international audiences, including business professionals, colleges, universities, insurance groups, and non-profits, and has been featured on local and national radio and television programs.

Ben also serves as a business professor at Charleston Southern University. He earned his Ph.D. in Human Resource Development at the University of Texas and is certified as a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) and as a Society of Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).

In addition to his teaching and his consulting work with ChoicePoint, he is the Founder and President of PROPEL, an HR services firm specializing in leadership development, talent acquisition, talent management, compensation and benefits management, and employee engagement activities.

Ben and his wife Stephanie have been married since 1999 and have two children, Julia and Dawson.
