Francis "Butch" Howard

Butch Howard started consulting in 2003 and founded ChoicePoint Consulting in 2006, when he moved to Charleston, South Carolina to “retire.” Over 20 years later, he’s still working circles around those he coaches.

With over 50 years’ business experience, Butch’s talents cover a diverse spectrum of organizational development and talent management. He specializes in job benchmarking, hiring and selection, and also enjoys executive coaching, leadership, teamwork, communications, process improvement, strategic planning, career transition and outplacement services.

Butch has developed numerous workshops, training and development courses, including: DISC Communications, Driving Forces, High Performance Teamwork, Conflict Resolution, Leadership, and many other professional development programs. A Value-Added Associate of TTI Success Insights, Butch is a Certified Professional Analyst in Behaviors, Driving Forces, Emotional Quotient, TriMetrix HD and DNA (Competencies).

Prior to his consulting, Butch worked with Georgia Power Company for 38 years. With Georgia Power, he managed a wide variety of operations in both corporate and in field offices in Transmission and Distribution. He finished his career as Corporate T & D Training Manager.

Butch earned a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also has Executive MBA Training from the University of Georgia and from Southern Company.

Butch was born in Macon, Georgia and currently resides on Daniel Island in Charleston, SC.
